Chu & Yang Dental is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of our patients and team members beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. You will still find enhanced protection and prevention protocols in accordance with the CDPH, ADA, and CDA during your office visit. Even in the post-COVID-19 world, your health is still of the utmost importance to us by taking universal precautions (disposable barriers, hospital grade disinfectants etc) . While face masks upon entry are no longer required as of May 2023, we still ask that if you are not feeling well to reschedule your appointment.

HOCL Fogging Machines
Our office utilizes Hypochlorous Acid (HOCL) fogging machines to safely disinfect each dental treatment room. HOCL is made with electrolyzed water and salt and has been proven to be highly effective at killing viruses and bacteria, while remaining extremely safe, non-toxic, and eco friendly.
Extraoral Suction
We have added extraoral suctions to each treatment room, which remove the aerosols produced during treatment and eliminate airborne bacteria and viruses.
Increased Personal Protective Equipment
We have increased PPE in our office for your protection. You will find our doctors wearing two face masks, a face shield, a surgical cap, and a lab coat. Staff members wear masks at all times.
HEPA Filters
HEPA filters are high efficiency air filters used to kill airborne germs and viruses. HEPA filters are placed in our waiting rooms and throughout the office as an additional safety measure during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Plexiglass Screens
Plexiglass screens have been installed as an extra protective barrier to protect our patients during check-in.
Sanitizer in High Contact Areas
Hand sanitizer stations have been added throughout our offices in high contrast areas, such as in our waiting room and restrooms.
